The Story
Last year my best friend, Tattiana was turning 30. To mark this occasion, a group of her nearest and dearest discussed a present to celebrate this milestone birthday. Naturally, being the token jeweller in the group, I volunteered to make her a bespoke piece. What started with a mood board, turned into sketches and a discussion on stone cuts and colours.

Let's go back in time,
Being my best friend, I have a sense of Tattiana’s tastes, we’ve travelled the world together and I’m very familiar with her jewellery collection. In 2019 we were on Europe trip and found ourselves in old town Riga, Latvia. It was here that Tattiana found an amber beaded necklace from a local vendor and wore it for the remainder of the trip. When I was deciding what stone to pick for her ring, this memory surfaced and I realised citrine would be the perfect amber adjacent hue to use as the centrepiece of the ring.
After group chat discussions, the vote was unanimous and we had decided on an oval cut Citrine.

Gifting Time
6 weeks later, the ring arrived and it was even more beautiful than I had imagined. We organised a Friday afternoon dinner to present the ring to her and (thankfully) she loved it just as much as I did.

Months later, Tatt moved to New York and I got a message from her whilst she was sitting in central park, watching her ring sparkle. A little reminder of home and friendship she will always carry with her.
You can now purchase Tattiana’s namesake ring in Citrine and Aquamarine
