How would you describe Blusher’s signature style—both on and off the stage?
We love to combine grunginess with ethereal and hyper femme elements. We also love incorporating a touch of sportiness in our style, our music is high energy and our live show feels like a workout sometimes! - Jade

I have a simple gold ring that was passed down from my great grandma, I’ll wear it forever! - Lauren

How does fashion help you express the themes and emotions of your music?
It’s so satisfying to wear something that aligns with the way your music sounds and feels. Sonically we like to have a balance of sparkly and gritty components, we play with distortion and cut things up to create something weird and unique. It’s similar to fashion, we never want to be boring and we love to take something traditionally pretty and distort it or reimagine it. Using reflective, eye-catching materials on stage feels really magical, and the combination of that with something like big black boots feels powerful. - Jade
How do you balance individuality and unity in your fashion choices as a trio?
It can be tricky but also super fun! It’s been helpful for us to find the styles, colours and trends that we all love equally, and the ones that distinguish us from each other. It’s taken some time but at this point we have a pretty good idea of where the venn diagram overlaps. We generally start off by expressing our personal style, and then tweaking to help it work together - Lauren
Are there any iconic fashion eras or trends that influence your aesthetic?
I love 60’s and 70’s fashion and the way those era’s imagined the future. I think Blusher definitely channels a retro-futuristic element. I’m also so happy that low rise jeans are back in because I find them to be so comfy and flattering (if you find the right pair). Corsets are also a big part of the Blusher wardrobe. - Miranda
What’s the Blusher song you’d play to someone who’s never heard your music before?
Our latest song Somebody New! It feels like the perfect culmination of what the Blusher world is like. You get a sense of our friendship and the style of production we love to make. - Lauren
What’s been the most memorable moment on stage so far?
Ooooh it’s got to be supporting the queen herself Kylie Minogue in Hyde Park in London, that show felt like such a dream come true. Aside from a specific gig, I always find it a particular memorable moment in the set when Miranda dances on the floor while playing the bass guitar, I am honestly mesmerised every time. - Lauren
Do you have any pre-show rituals before a performance?
We all stand at opposite ends of the dressing room holding cups of tea, trilling and squeaking away like a cage full of birds. We do lots of stretching to get our bodies ready for jumping around on stage. We do a little hands-in huddle before every show that ends with a big “yeeeehaaww!!” - Jade
What are you most excited about for 2025?
We cannot wait to release the new music we’ve been working on, it’s so much fun to play live and our best yet for sure. We’re also super excited to keep diving deeper into the world of fashion, make up and accessories, it’s a passion we all share and can’t wait to see where it takes us. - Lauren
