How To: Stack Multiple Earrings

Multiple piercings, layering earrings, ear cuffs, and huggies are super popular at the moment so we thought we would share our top tips on how to stack your earrings to elevate your everyday look.

We recommend having some fun with your pieces and don’t be afraid to mix and match your pieces. True to their name, huggies are small minimalist hoop earrings that ‘hug’ the earlobe. Huggies or sleepers are they are sometimes referred to look great worn alone and are super versatile when stacking with other earrings. You can wear them on your love (second or third lobe too) and also on your helix piercing.

One of our favourite everyday pieces is the ‘Celestial Sleepers’ by By Charlotte which are cast from 14k gold and shaped to gently hug your lobe. We think they add the perfect amount of sparkle to everyday looks even when worn alone.

Belle has paired the ‘Dion Huggies’ (top) with the ’Swift Earrings’ and finished off her stack with the ‘Mini Cross Earrings in Multicolour’ all by Reliquia. The ’Swift Earrings’ are a cuff which don’t require a piercing so are the perfect addition to any stack as you can place it anywhere along your ear. We also love the coloured gemstones in the ‘Dion Huggies’, there is nothing like a sparkly coloured gemstone to really jazz up those bejeweled pierced ears.

Belle has paired the ‘Elizabeth Earrings’ by Reliquia with ‘Hunter Earrings’ by Love Isabelle for a modern yet elevated everyday look. Pearls are a cool trend we are seeing at the moment so this is one way of integrating them into your earring stack. Studded with pearls, the petite golden ‘Elizabeth Earrings’ are the perfect hoops, balancing both masculine and feminine features. They are designed to hug your ear, making them perfect for layering.

If you want to try the trend, there really are no limits or rules. You can keep it minimal and opt for an earful of studs, or mix in some small hoops to add contrast. Also, don’t be afraid to mix and match gold and silver pieces. This old-fashion rule no longer applies when it comes to mastering the earring stack.
